Southside Area Mothers of Multiples (SAMOM) is a non profit organization founded in 2004 that is dedicated to providing support systems for parents of twins, triplets, quads and more.

Our members consist of expectant mothers of multiples (MOMs), MOMs of teenagers, stay at home MOMs and working MOMs. SAMOM serves families of multiples in the greater Richmond area as well as Southside Virginia.

Our club is a member of the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NOMOTC) and the Mid-Atlantic Parents of Multiples (MAPOM). We meet the second Monday of each month (Sept thru June) at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA.

Our meetings consist of guest speakers or discussions about raising multiples. Members also enjoy social time with other mothers of multiples. Support group meetings for new or expectant mothers and mothers of toddlers meet prior to every regular membership meeting and visitors are always welcome. For busy MOMs, especially those that travel a great distance to attend meetings, it is very beneficial to have fun, learn and get support one evening per month!

In addition to the regular monthly meetings, we sponsor many social events, including play dates, potluck dinners, holiday parties, MOM’s Nights Out, and family picnics.
